With seventeen years of teaching experience alongside a professional international acrobatics career, Jordan offers weekly specialist coaching, teacher development, student intensives, program development and private coaching.
A skill that is not working is a diagnosis problem before it is a repetition problem. The job is to find the exact component that is limiting the student, then train it.
Complex skills are broken into their individual parts to identify exactly where the problem is.
Strength, power, body shapes, flexibility and prerequisite skills come first. Power does not compensate for poor technique. It amplifies it.
Drills are chosen to fix a specific problem, then adjusted for different students, body types and learning styles.
Spotting supports confidence, safety and trajectory, then gradually reduces as the student becomes capable of performing the skill independently.
Diagnose → Prepare → Train → Independence
My approach to
I don't just want a student to get the trick. I want them to understand it, own it and be able to keep it.
Being a professional acrobat has taught me that learning a skill doesn't mean you have it for life. Bad habits can slowly creep in, and sometimes even advanced acrobats need to go back to the basics and rebuild a skill.
That's why I coach for long-term technique and confidence, not just the quickest way to get the trick.
But technical coaching shouldn't come at the cost of enjoying the class. I want students challenged, engaged and having fun, because students who enjoy their training want to keep learning and keep coming back.
Beginner through to pre-professional level, grouped so students work at the edge of what they can already do.
Strength, body tension and shapes, dynamic flexibility, shoulder and back mobility, landing mechanics, handstands, cartwheels, limbers and walkovers.
Side aerials, front aerials, variations and connections, with technique, power and confidence developed together.
Standing and round-off back handsprings, front handsprings where appropriate, variations, and connecting handsprings into passes.
Round-offs, hurdle and corbett mechanics, rebounds, timing and rhythm, pass construction and power retention through a pass.
Round-off back whip, standing and round-off back tucks, round-off back layout, twisting, shape differentiation and advanced combinations.
A progression from first holding a handstand, through shape and alignment, the Stalder press, and building towards one-arm handstands.
Acrobatics from hand-to-hand balances and dynamic work into banquine and adagio sequences.
One-to-one and small-group sessions for focused technical work, specialist progressions or rebuilding confidence after a block.
Skill and confidence are trained as two separate things. A student can be physically capable of a skill and still held back by fear or an earlier bad experience, so telling them to be brave does not work. Confidence is built.
Confidence grows through repetition, clear communication and spotting the student can trust. I break the skill into smaller, manageable steps, then gradually reduce support as the student becomes more capable and starts to believe they can do it on their own.
The same applies to your teaching team. A teacher who understands how a skill works, knows the right progressions and can spot it safely will teach with much more confidence. Teacher development doesn't just improve technique, it helps remove hesitation and uncertainty from the coach.
“Jordan's teaching style is not only high level, but it's the passion and confidence he instils in his students which enables them to achieve the skills.”
Jordan can work with a studio as more than a weekly class teacher. His coaching strengthens student development while also improving the knowledge, confidence and consistency of the studio's existing teaching team.
Weekly specialist coaching can also be combined with teacher mentoring, private lessons, student intensives and program development.
For years, studio owners told Jordan they struggled to find acrobatics teachers with the knowledge and confidence to keep developing their students. He would return to studios and see students still stuck on the same skills years later, or progressing to more difficult skills without the technique needed to perform them well.
This led to a simple realisation: coaching the students alone was not enough. If Jordan could help teachers understand skill mechanics, progressions, spotting, drills and corrections, they could keep developing their students long after he left the studio.
Jordan's goal is not to replace a studio's existing teachers. It is to give them more technical knowledge, practical tools and confidence so they can build stronger, safer and more capable acrobats themselves.
Teachers who complete the training receive Jordan's detailed reference manuals to keep. They cover class structure, spotting, drills, skill breakdowns, common mistakes, corrections and advanced tumbling.
These manuals are included as part of a booked workshop, not a separate download.
The goal is for the workshop to keep influencing the studio after Jordan leaves, with teachers more confident spotting, more precise with corrections and better able to understand why a student has stopped progressing.

"Thank you for the amazing opportunity you shared. It reminded me how important it is to go back to fundamentals, and I could see my two students quickly progress in their acro form instead of just throwing big tricks."
